Eugene Kleinfeller, the owner of Backcreek Graphics, was never without a sketchbook in his youth. His love of drawing, color and design carried into adulthood when he became a sales and marketing professional with the Strathmore Paper Company representing New York City and the surrounding mid-Atlantic region. His corporate responsibilities included art club presentations to illustrators, graphic designers and fine artists and he enjoyed guiding artists in the proper choice of paper, paint and brush.

 In the late 80’s he became an artists’ rep, building on his early sales, marketing and product expertise to support and guide his clients. He worked concurrently as an independent contractor carrying several frame molding lines in the greater DC area.

In 2002 he launched Backcreek Graphics, which he owns and operates to provide the highest quality giclee prints as well as marketing and networking assistance.

Using state of the art technology, he makes sure each painting is painstakingly reproduced to ensure the closest visual match possible in synergy with the artists’ vision of color and content.

Eugene continues to paint privately, as well.
